Maybe not, because we don’t use the acronym a lot, but it is par to four official name as a local non profit.

Downtown Prince George (Prince George Downtown BIA) is a non-profit society that serves all the property owners and businesses in the C1 Zone of Prince George. Every property owner and business downtown is part of our vibrant community.

Our organization exists through a municipal bylaw, with the current 7-Year bylaw in effect until March 31, 2025. We’re funded through a special property tax levy, which is typically incorporated into rental rates. These funds allow us to access sponsorships, grants, and events to improve and promote our downtown.
